I run my own business, My Super VA (www.mysuperva.co.uk) helping busy professional make effective use of their time.

Prior to setting up on my own, I spent over 20 years assisting senior management in the corporate sector as well as small businesses as a PA. Within my last role, which spanned 10 years I embraced the changes that the multi-national company faced by ably assisting my bosses in conforming to all the legalities of running a listed stock exchange company to de-listing and becoming an MBO, growing the subsidiaries and then finally, through to Exit and being the last to help “switch off the light”. Along the way I absorbed every opportunity to build up a strong understanding of business and armoury of skills including website design, database creation/management, project management, equipment specifying/purchasing, as well as the usual PA skills of managing the bosses time, making him look good to his peers by ensuring everything ran smoothly in the background and having all documentation looking good and produced in good time.

I now run my own virtual assistance business, My Super VA, which provides business administration services to small businesses and entrepreneurs. I joined Athena mid-2006 to assist with the smooth background administration of The Athena Network. Using all the skills and insights that I gained throughout my career and driven by a desire to make things easier, I helped streamline many Athena processes leaving Athena co-founders, Louise and Jacqueline, more time to be creative.

With the franchise side of Athena taking off, I soon realised that there was not enough of me to go round and have built up a team that I have trained in The Athena Way who assist the Athena Franchisees with their Athena admin and telemarketing. As I have had a pivotal role in developing many of the Athena systems, I'm well placed to provide my team with all the back-up and training they need to provide an efficient and comprehensive admin and telemarketing service.

I feel privileged to be a part of the phenomenal growth of Athena, and absolutely thrive on making things easy for myself and my clients. My vision is a team of “Vee-clones” helping other entrepreneurs and business owners to work effectively and create more time to do the things they do well by taking care of their admin.
